ACE explained to HELP that their client’s court dates and pending charges were interfering with their ability to provide long-term case planning. HELP requested the assistance of EPS’ Warrant Apprehension and Diversion Unit (WADU) who immediately stepped up to execute his warrants and identify an upcoming court date so now HELP can ensure he attends so he can receive the stability and aid he is working to achieve.
This is how our many new units are able to provide better outcomes for our community members. We cannot do this alone – it takes many partners working together to build a new path for our community members to regain their independence.
